Passing Admirers
1 September 2004

A while back I came across this chart called “Passing Admirers” at my local cross-stitch shop and fell in love with it.

At the time I didn’t buy it because I normally like small and simple designs and this one is not only big by my standards (on 32 count linen it will be almost 10 x 14 inches), it is also pretty complicated.

But I liked it so much that I kept thinking about it. Today I was in the neighborhood and went into the shop. I figured with my luck they would have sold it, but it was still there. So I bought it. We’ll see if I ever get up enough ambition to actually stitch it!

Just happened onto your blog. Nice to see a fellow librarian blogging! Well, I’m finishing my bachelor’s to begin my quest for an MLS. I’m a library asst. at a University library in Tennessee. All I’ve ever done is library work, since I was 14. I’ve worked at public libraries, TN State Library & Archives and now academic. I have 16 yrs. of experience.

It is such a small world. One of my good friends is on the management team of the Wal-Mart there in Germany. He’s been there nearly 6 years. Great blog! I really enjoyed reading!
