bird If I Could…
13 May 2005

I too have been tagged! I am going to have rethink who I send this on to because some of my candidates have already been tagged! ;)
If I could be a scientist . . .
If I could be a farmer . . .
If I could be a musician . . .

If I could be a doctor . . . I would be an exotic cat veterinarian. I would be the authority on exotic cat afflictions and since my services would be in demand from the Amazon to the Sahara, I would travel the world treating and rehabilitating lions, tigers, cheetahs, and panthers.

If I could be a painter . . .

If I could be a gardener . . . I would specialize in spring flowers and offer tips, tricks, and workshops aimed at helping people who want to be gardeners but have “black thumbs.”

If I could be a missionary . . .
If I could be a chef . . .
If I could be an architect . . .

If I could be a linguist . . . I would learn as many foreign languages as possible. My area of research, like Ashleigh’s, would be multilingualism in children. I think it is fascinating how truly multilingual children are said not only to speak in those languages, but think in them as well. And the fact of the matter is, if A. and I continue to live in Germany and one day have children, all of the research I had done on such a topic would be immensely beneficial!

If I could be a psychologist . . .

If I could be a librarian . . . Well, I am sort of cheating on this one because I am a librarian, but if I could go back to work as a librarian I would change my direction. I have only worked as a reference librarian in academic libraries, but if I had a chance to go back to work I think I would like to work in the library of a non-profit institute. I would preferably be the head of the library and only have two or three other people working with me.

If I could be an athlete . . .
If I could be a lawyer . . .
If I could be an inn-keeper . . .

If I could be a professor . . . I would be a professor of comparative literature, wear hot pink mini-skirts to class, and try not to be the professor everyone hopes that they don’t get!

If I could be a writer . . .
If I could be a llama-rider . . .
If I could be a bonnie pirate . . .
If I could be an astronaut . . .
If I could be a world famous blogger . . .
If I could be a justice on any one court in the world . . .
If I could be married to any current famous political figure . . .

Right then, so I choose to tag Dawn (because she’s my best friend), Susie (because she is also a good bloggin’ friend) and Jamie (because she book-tagged me a while back).
