This little cactus is from a kit that I bought when my friend Susie was in Munich a little over a month ago and marks my 10th finish of 2005. (Actually 13th if you count my RR squares) I decided to stitch it up because though I bought the grays that I ran out of for “Passing Admirers,” I was in need of a little break from “PA.”
I thought this “Little Cactus” would only take me about an afternoon to finish, but in fact it took me an afternoon, an evening, AND because I changed the border after I was about 1/4 finished with it, also a morning.
The kit came with a little frame and so I will be framing it and putting it up on my stitching wall this afternoon.

That little cactus is so cute! An unusual design.
It turned out great. I love the border!
