Pretty Polly
After exactly eight months and 66 hours of stitching time, I finished Polly today! (except the backstitching and beading of course) Yeah, little happy dance for me!
What more can I say about her? She is 7″ wide x 8″ tall and the really tedious part was stitching the dots on the dress. On the shirt I (*blush*) carried my thread and the back isn’t very neat there. The dots are really too far apart to carry the thread, but what can I say… I was lazy. However, I have started using the “loop” method since I did that and found that the “loop” method makes stitching single crosses very convenient. Therefore, the skirt back looks quite neat and I am very proud of myself. ![]()
Since it only took me about 45 minutes to finish up the dots on the skirt today I will probably start on the baby buggy, but I wanted to share a quick pic of Polly and her completed dress.
Now… back to stitching!

Polly is adorable and you did a great job. I will be starting a new project soon and really want to start it now but I need to stick to my rotation.
