Item Number One:
Today my first round robin finally made its way back to me! happy dance! I am so relieved to finally get it back.
This round robin didn’t go as smoothly as I had hoped because one of our members totally flaked out on us during the last go-round. She had my robin and from what I understand wasn’t too keen on returning it to the organizer. However, somehow the organizer managed to get it back from her and then was nice enough to stitch the empty square on my robin that was originally supposed to be stitched by the flaky lady.
All in all, I am pretty pleased with the way it turned out: The square in the upper left-hand corner was stitched by yours truly, the one in the upper right-hand corner was stitched by Susie, the one in the lower left-hand corner was stitched by Kathy (our organizer), and the one in the lower right-hand corner was stitched by Sharon.
I am not exactly sure what I am going to do with it, but I was thinking of finding some springy-looking flowery fabric and making it into a pillow.
Item Number Two:
I finally decided what to stitch for the Stitching Bloggers’ Seasonal Round Robin: Passione Ricamo’s “Seasonal Topiaries.” This freebie series was only available on her website for a short time (in fact, I think it has already been removed) so I feel lucky that I was regularly checking and managed to get all four seasons downloaded. I got the borders done yesterday and will be ready to start stitching “Spring” over the weekend.
Item Number Three:
Dawn’s Water Dragon now has half a head! ![]()

Oh, shoot, the topiary series has already been removed? I managed to get the first two but when I checked back a while later and didn’t see the last two, I thought they hadn’t been put up yet. Oh well, maybe she’ll put them up again someday!

Your RR is great! Pity someone had to be so unreliable… But at least your RR is back and Kathy was kind enough to stitch the missing square!
I like your idea about the seasonal topiaries!
