September Recap/October Goals
30 September 2005 22:25 goalsWell, it is just about an hour and a half shy of October first here, so that means it is Goal Day!
As a reminder, my September Goals were:
1.) Stitch a little bit every day.
** Even though I have been pretty busy in September, I managed to stitch a little bit almost every day. Though some days I only managed around thirty minutes, most days I got in at least an hour. I wasn’t feeling very well last week so I completely missed a couple of days, but overall the plan to just stitch a little bit every day seems to have worked pretty well. **
2.) Finish my exchanges and mail them out on time. (Sept 12 and 30 post dates)
** Yep. I mailed out my NR Exchange on the 12th and even got my Halloween exchange in the mail a few days ahead of time. **
3.) Finish the cross stitching on “Passing Admirers.”
** Yep. Small Happy Dance!
**
I also managed to start on Dawn’s Dragons for the Stitching Bloggers’ Round Robin, stitch up a mini sampler, and finish the borders for my Stitching Bloggers’ Seasonal Round Robin. Considering how “busy” I was supposed to be, I certainly seem to have gotten in a lot of stitching time! ![]()
Now, for October I hope to:
1.) Stitch a little bit every day.
2.) Mail out my EMS RR a few days before its post date of October 10.
** I am already finished with the stitching, so I just need to write in the logbook and mail it off. **
3.) Finish my “Water Dragon” for Dawn’s Stitching Bloggers’ Round Robin.
** November 1 post date **
4.) Finish Dawn’s gift for the Stitching Bloggers’ Birthday Exchange.
** November 15 birthday, November 7 post date **
5.) Start and finish my square for my Stitching Bloggers’ Seasonal Round Robin
** November 15 post date **
6.) Start (and finish?) the backstitching and beading on “Passing Admirers.”
7.) If time permits, stitch my next SAL pansy on “Stiefmütterchen” with Susie.
Last month exchanges dominated much of my stitching time, but this month it looks like it will be round robins. I am having lots of fun with exchanges and round robins, but I have decided not to sign up for (or organize) any more for a while… after all, I would like to stitch for myself again one of these days! ![]()

Is it okay for me to play the schoolmarm for one second? It’s every day. Everyday is an adjective (everyday clothes, everyday demeanor). When every modifies day you need to use two words. One day, I will make the world revel in proper grammar.

Please do be the grammar dominatrix… normally it is me!
I can’t believe that everyday vs. every day slipped through my proofreading! And I know better too.
