December Recap/January Goals
29 December 2005
Well, December is just about over, so I think it is time to see whether or not I accomplished my goals.
As a reminder my December Goals were to:
1.) Stitch at least 90 minutes per day.
** As usual, I managed to stitch at least 90 minutes most days. From now on, I don’t think I will include this in my goals: It will just be understood that every single day for the rest of my life I will try to stitch 90 minutes per day.
**
2.) Stitch 10 hours on “Stitcher’s Sampler.”
** Nope. Didn’t even touch it. In fact, I half-assed dekitted it as I needed some of the floss for another project. **
3.) Finish Vash’s “Cats in Floral Hats” RR and mail it off to Cathy.
** Yep. I finished it on December 14 and mailed it off to Cathy today. **
4.) Finish Nicki’s SBSRR and mail it off to Dawn.
** More or less. I finished it on December 22 and am planning on mailing it off to Dawn sometime next week. **
5.) Finish my garden-themed exchange piece and mail it off to XXX.
** More or less. I have been finished with if for about a week and I am planning on mailing off to XXX next week. **
6.) Work on and maybe finish Margaret Sherry’s “Snowman.”
** Yep. Just finished it a couple of days ago. **
7.) Work on and maybe finish my first scarf.
** Nope. I decided I didn’t want a scarf after all so I pulled it apart and now I am using the yarn to make squares that (hopefully) I will one day turn into an afghan. **
Now for January I plan to:
1.) Do nothing more than take some stitching with me on my trip to the US.
** I haven’t seen my family and friends for so long that I really don’t know how much stitching I will get done. However, I want to have some stitching to work on during my “down” times and besides, one person I know that I am going to see is Dawn and I am sure we will have at least one stitch and bitch session! **
