Well, I am all packed and ready to go. (I have probably forgotten something that I am sure only to remember once I am half-way over the Atlantic, but c’est la vie!)
Anyway, I will be updating as time allows during my visit, so next time I post it will be from the USA! See you on the other side! 
Today’s post will be short and sweet: I have continued to work on “Catch the Wind” for the past couple of days and am now done with the ruffle on the bottom of Jane’s skirt.
Though I am taking my stitching with me on my trip, I am not going to even attempt to stitch on the plane. A long time ago when I flew more often than I do now and before things like scissors were considered dangerous objects, I stitched when I was in the air. However, in my opinion, long-haul international flights that are usually packed tighter than sardine cans are really not conducive to stitching. Therefore I plan to pack my stitching in my checked luggage and merely read, sleep, and listen to music on the flight.
I am also planning to take some pictures of some of my earlier works that I gave as gifts while I am home and will be updating the blog sporadically during my time in the States, so do remember to check in from time to time. However, since my plane leaves in just about 36 hours I suppose it is time for me to finish blogging and start packing!
