March Recap/April Goals
31 March 2006 Comments OffWell, I managed to survive my trip to the in-laws without putting one single stitch into anything! I took “Stiefmütterchen” along, but we were so busy I just didn’t have a chance to do anything.
And now it is almost 10:00 pm and I am itching to pick up a needle, but I am kind of tired so it might just have to wait until tomorrow. But since I am thinking about stitching I guess it is time to review my March goals and post my April ones, so here goes:
As a reminder, my March goals were to:
- Finish and mail Laurie’s SBSRR to Dawn.
** Yep. ** - Finish and mail Cathy’s Birthday Exchange.
** Yep. ** - Start, finish, and mail Spring Exchange for XXX.
** Yep. ** - Work on “Catch the Wind” at least on Tuesdays.
** Yep. I am getting close to being half way done with this too!
** - Finally start Lavender and Lace’s “Celtic Spring.”
** With 16 hours into this project I think I can safely say that I met this goal! ** - Start Mirabilia’s “Fairy Flora.”
** With 12 ½ hours into this project I think I can safely say that I met this goal too! **
Something that I forgot to put in my March goal list that I accomplished anyway was to start, finish, and mail Cathy’s RR back to her.
Now for April, I hope to:
- Start, finish, and mail Dawn’s SBSRR back to her. (The due date isn’t until May 15, but since this is the last round I would like to get it done ASAP.)
- Start TW’s “Above the Clouds” (This will go into my Monday rotation slot.)
- Continue working on “Catch the Wind.”
- Start Donna Vermillion Giampa’s “Four Seasons Cats.” (This will go into my Wednesday rotation slot.)
- Continue working on “Fairy Flora.”
- Continue working on “Stiefmütterchen.”
- Continue working on “Celtic Spring.”
- Get the groups organized and sent out for the next SBRR.
- Stitch a birthday card for my step-niece. (She will be 11 on May 11.)
- Participate in the FGBB’s April “Stitch-A-Thon” and “Broaden Your Stitching Horizon.”
I guess that is about it for now… Looks like I will have a busy month! ![]()
