Headless Jane

20:40 wips

Catch the Wind, Progress as of 08.03.2006 - Click for a larger image! Yesterday and today I worked on “Catch the Wind.” I realize at this point Jane is missing her head, but I intend to fix that tomorrow. ;)

I think every blog I have ever read that has had CtW as a WIP has claimed that it is their favorite project at the time they have stitched it. Well, I second that opinion! I absolutely love this pattern! It has a lot of detail, but at the same time the detail doesn’t slow down the stitching. I am currently at 38 hours on this project and am nearly 1/3 of the way done. I can definitely see how if this is your first MLI pattern it would encourage you to stitch more of her designs.

And speaking of MLI designs… even though I had made a pledge not to buy any more stash until my birthday in May, I just so happened to see “Angel of Spring” on sale at my ONS yesterday so I snatched it up. Oops!

Jane looks so nice, Renee! I bet she will look even better with a head. ;)

She looks beautiful and I can’t wait to see her head!! It is a piece that seems to stitch up quickly too.

Have fun on Jane’s head :) They really stitch up so fast and nice, that I missed this piece when I had finished it.
