Random Act of Kindness
07 March 2006 20:18 adventures in stitchingI don’t check my mail every day: In fact, the only time I regularly check it is when I am expecting something stitching-related and since I haven’t been expecting anything recently I hadn’t even been down to the mailbox since Friday.
So imagine my surprise when Hubby brought the mail upstairs this evening and handed me a little package. A quick mental check told me it shouldn’t be a round robin or an exchange, but when I looked at the return address I did recognize the name as a fellow stitching blogger.
Of course I had to open it immediately and when I peeked inside I was surprised to find that Heather had RAKed me with an item from my wish list: The May Birthday Needleroll Kit from The Victoria Sampler! I can just tell by looking at the kit that it will be gorgeous when finished and I can’t wait to stitch it!
I was so excited that a little while later when I was out shopping I could barely concentrate my grocery list! Thanks Heather… You really made my day! ![]()
