Round Robin Returned
25 March 2006 22:42 round robins, exchanges, & gifts
I didn’t get any stitching done on “Celtic Spring” today as I spent the day with my hubby celebrating our fourth wedding anniversary. We didn’t do anything extraordinary… just went to the movies and out for dinner, but it was a nice day nonetheless.
However, when we got home this evening I quickly checked the mail because I half expected to receive a package from Dawn. I wasn’t sure if it would get here today or not, but when I peeked into the mailbox I was quite pleased to see a parcel that, according to the custom’s slip, contained none other than my fabric for the “original” Stitching Bloggers’ Round Robin.
The SBRR is quickly winding down: I know that Jo is getting hers from Cathy in person this weekend, I mailed Cathy’s to her last week, I believe Dawn’s is on the way back to her, and I am sure Vash’s isn’t far behind. However, I think I am the first to receive (or at least the first to blog about) my finished product.
After being stitched on by me, Cathy, Jo, and Vash, Dawn was the last person to stitch on my “Tea Time” robin and in all honesty I can’t think of too much else to say concerning this robin. Everything went super smoothly and everyone did an awesome job of stitching her teapot.
I would toot my horn given that I was the organizer, but I think that the main reason this robin went so well is because it was just a GREAT group of stitchers and by being able to follow the progress through our blogs we were kept motivated.
So in conclusion, I would just like to thank everybody once again for stitching on my robin and overall making it a great experience!
I guess it is time to start organizing the next one now… ![]()

Happy Anniversary to you and hubby!!
I like your teapot RR finish! It’s cute! I haven’t had any luck with RRs I’m afraid…both of the ones I’ve been in have turned nasty really quick…so I’m scared to join anymore…:( Too bad..as I’d love to complete one smoothly..LOL
Great job!
*hugs*
