A New Round Robin
4 June 2006

Sunflowers for my RR, Progress as of 04.06.06 - Click for a larger image! I have been sort of sick the past few days because last weekend Hubby went to a conference in Vienna and all he brought home for me was a stupid cold! This, however, did not stop me from stitching and I have been diligently working through my rotation with the exception of yesterday.

Instead of working on my Saturday project yesterday, I decided to work some on my round robin that I am stitching with Bea, Beth, and Kara. (This round robin is one of the robins that I organized and is going on over on The Robin’s Nest.)

My theme for this robin is “Summer” and I am stitching an EMS freebie called “Sunflowers” for my square. The sunflowers are almost entirely made up of full cross stitches and I am stitching on Aida so they are stitching up pretty fast and easy.

And while it is nice for the stitcher when something stitches up with no problems it unfortunately makes rather boring blog material so I guess I will just end the post here and go back to my stitching. :P

I don’t know what it is about sunflowers, but I really like them. It seems I buy several packets of various types of them every single year- even though they will re-seed themselves vigorously if you leave the plants in the garden for the birds to nibble all winter. :)
That is a nice sunflower pattern, even if it doesn’t do anything exciting in terms of blogability. ;)
