Goals for August

23:29 goals

With any luck, I should have Leslie’s RR piece done tomorrow so be sure to check back for a pic! However, since August is (already!) just around the corner, I think I will take a moment to do my monthly goal post.

As a reminder, my goals for July were the following:

  1. Finish and mail Recipe Exchange. (Post date July 15) Yep! Unfortunately someone stole the piece and left my partner with an empty package, so I have to make another. The stitching is finished, so now I just have to do the finishing.
  2. Finish and mail Summer Exchange. (Post date July 17) Yep!
  3. Start round two of my robins. (Post dates August 15 and September 1) Yes and no. I have started the August 15 one and am almost done. The September 1 one hasn’t been started yet, but I do have a pattern picked out.
  4. Continue my daily rotation. This was sort of hit or miss in July, but I did manage to work on almost everything in my rotation for a few hours.
  5. Participate in the FGBB July Stitch-a-thon. Yep!

Now, for August I plan to:

  1. Focus on robins and exchanges, but work on my daily rotation when possible.
  2. Finish and mail Recipe Exchange Replacement Piece. (Post date ASAP)
  3. Finish round two of my robins. (Post dates August 15 and September 1)
  4. Start and finish my Needleroll Exchange Piece.
  5. Participate in the FGBB August Stitch-a-thon.
  6. Possibly finish “Catch the Wind.” However, with everything else that is going on, this is a very low priority.
