Yep, as you can see, today I put the finishing touches on “Catch the Wind.” I have said it about a thousand times before, but I loved, loved, loved stitching this piece!
The only thing I wouldn’t do if I were to stitch it again is stitch it on that crappy Wichelt-Permin Linen. The color (English Rose) is nice, but it is stiff and the fibers are easily bent out of shape. Of course, I didn’t realize I didn’t like the fabric until I was half-way into the project or I would have started it over. Oh well, I guess you live and learn.
