Nearing the End
First, let me start off with the long-awaited picture of my Summer Exchange from Natty. She stitched me this yummy strawberries and cream-themed piece and turned it into a little pillow. Doesn’t it just look good enough to eat? ![]()
And now, for today’s big news: I finished all of the stitching on Mary a short while ago! Hip Hip Hooray! The girls are now too big to fit onto my scanner, so I will have to photograph them from now on… please forgive my photography skills. Right now I am alternating between this piece and my needleroll, so with only the kite tails and the backstitching left to go, I might just get “Catch the Wind” done by the end of the month!
I still have a little packing-related chore left to do this evening, but then it is back to “Catch the Wind” because I am in just too good of a rhythm to put this piece away today.
“Catch” you all later! ![]()

Woohoo! The girls are looking great! I know you can get it done this month. Then you can fly to the US with a finish in your pocket.

Catch the wind is looking just wonderful Renee, not long to go now!

Keep going! It looks fantastic! My best friend had said for the past ten years or so that she was going to stitch this for me when I had a baby girl. Unfortunately, I had a boy! And no plans for another little one, boo hoo.

Hello
I got your letter Monday and I am going to give you a call this weekend with my address.

I have the chart for that Strawberries and Cream design. I remember when I saw it, I thought, that would be perfect for the summer exchange if I were in it…
Catch the Wind looks great! It’s always such a great feeling to be close to finished. I hope packing isn’t too difficult for you. I know how hard it was for me to move just a few miles away. I can’t imagine what it’s like to move across and ocean. Take care.
