Biscornus Everywhere!
On two consecutive days, two biscornus reached their destinations. ![]()
On Monday I received my biscornu from Ish. It’s called “Beachcomber Biscornu,” and I couldn’t think of a more appropriate title because the little seahorses and crabs stitched on 28ct Vintage Country Mocha Cashel linen really make me want to take a walk along the beach looking for shells among the sand! ![]()
Ish also included two skeins of hand-dyed floss from a place in Wales. The colors of the floss are so pretty and I already have plans to use them when making my next biscornu!
Then on Tuesday, the biscornu that I stitched for Outi reached her mailbox. The pattern is an EMS freebie that I stitched in monochromatic colors over one on 28 Count White Meran and finished into a little biscornu-fob.
One side is green and one side is red: The green side represents Outi (for pics of the green side, see Outi’s blog) and the red side represents me. I adored this piece so much that I had a hard time letting it go, but I finally did.
Whew! What a great exchange this has been! Big thanks to Ish for the biscornu she made for me and to Outi for moderating.

…and it’s mine, all mine!

Pleasure is all mine, it has been fun to moderate this one (though we are still waiting for five biscornus to reach their destinations).
