SBQ: Last Year’s Fav
9 January 2008

Poet's Heart, Progress as of 09.01.08 - Click for a larger image! I have been working on “Poet’s Heart” since the beginning of the week and am probably two-thirds of the way finished with stitching this section. I think I have enough time left in this slot of my rotation to finish the bands in this section, but if I run over the 10 hour mark a little bit it’s no big deal.

And now, on to this week’s SBQ! Today’s SBQ is:

What was your favorite finish of 2007?

For me, my favorite finish in 2007 would have to be “Celtic Spring.”

First of all, she is gorgeous.

Second of all, she was my only BAP finish in 2007.

And finally, in addition to the reasons already mentioned, she is my favorite finish of 2007 because she was my first major beading project.

That was a beautiful pattern. I love it and might have to add it to my ever growing stash.

I’m posting my answer as we speak.

Poet is looking so pretty, good luck on your goal of finishing the grouping of bands. I can see why even if you go over your 10 hr rotation time it would be hard to put down at that point. Celtic Spring is such a gorgeous piece, I can certainly understand how that would be the favorite of the past year.
