Firefox 3
17 June 2008 22:18 pop cultureIn case you didn’t know, today is Download Day for Firefox 3.
As soon as I have time to play with all the new bells and whistles (not tonight, my nose is buried in Romantic Poetry) I will be sure to put together a post entitled “Why Firefox is the Best Thing Since Sliced Bread.”
And if you haven’t upgraded to a REAL browser yet, do it today! What are you waiting for?!

Ah, I think I will wait until the dust settles (and the servers stop crashing). I’m already using FF3, Beta, R3? (anyway the last beta release), so not in a great need for the Gold Version. Everything here seems pretty stable — a LOT better than the last release. I probably should tell my husband that it’s OK to load FF3 now. I kept him off it during the crashing times. Still have Safari as a backup (and NO microsoft products whatsoever, YEAH!)

I downloaded it. I can’t say that I have noticed that much difference between the versions, but then that is me, lol.
