Here is my latest progress on “The Bookshelf.” I have to admit that I changed the colors on all but one of the dresses that the ladies are wearing because they were so drab. Obviously in keeping with the feel of a LNH piece I chose muted colors, but I just had to change those ugly brown dresses to shades of blue, gold, and red.
As you can probably tell, I am very close to finishing “The Bookshelf.” I just need to add Wuthering Heights and the last vine on the bottom. However, since today is my SAL with Dawn and we will be working on “Harvest Witch,” I don’t suppose I will get it finished until tomorrow or Tuesday.
And now, since today is the first of the month, let’s have some goals!
For May, I planned to:
- Continue my Sunday SAL with Dawn. – Mostly yes. I did miss one weekend, but I was out of town.
- Participate in the May SAT. – No. I was out of town that weekend.
- Work for 10 hours on “Fairy Flora.” – No. I only worked on her for about 5 hours.
- Work on (and finish?) “The Bookshelf” – Worked on and am almost finished!
- Work on “Spring Queen” – No. I worked on “Cool Cats” instead.
- Stitch (and finish) one of my PIF gifts. Stitched, but haven’t finished it yet.
Well, May wasn’t as successful of a month stitching-wise I had hoped it would be, but what can I say? I have actually had a social life lately.
Now, for June I plan to:
- Continue my Sunday SAL with Dawn.
- Participate in the June SAT.
- Work on “Fairy Flora.”
- Finish “The Bookshelf.”
- Stitch (and finish) one of my ornaments for my 10 Ornies in 500 Days Challenge.
- Post Round 1 of the UFO Robin. (June 15)

Hev says:
Ooh, I do like Bookshelf. It is coming along nicely.
Good luck on your goals.
