I imagine that most people favor feed readers these days and as a result don’t actually visit my blog much anymore, but nevertheless I decided to change its theme in honor of National Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Yes, my blog is now extremely pink, but luckily I am still girly enough that I actually like it!
I am fortunate enough that I have not personally known anyone (I have been told that my great-aunt by marriage on my mother’s side had breast cancer, but I never knew her) who has been affected by breast cancer, but I suspect that it is only a matter of time.
Therefore, as a way to honor those who have in one way or another had to deal with this dreadful disease, here are a few links. Educate yourself, your mother, your sisters, your aunts, and your best friend today!

I like the new look! I use a reader, but I also visit the actual blogs in order to comment, when I find something to comment on.
I have been affected by breast cancer and I really appreciate how many people are putting the word out there! Thank you!

I have wrestled with those feeds, and like the old fashioned way of bookmarking and checking in when I can.
I love the new look. I especially like the profile pic! You are a brave lady to have done that. Me? I will stick with pansies.

I don’t read blogs via feeds, because I enjoy the expression of personality that comes through in the blog designs people choose.
And besides, I’ve meandered my way all over the internet finding blogs written by creative people all over the globe, by clicking on sidebar links. I rarely leave comments, because I seldom have anything interesting to say, or someone else has already voiced what I was thinking. But I do read!
