Snowman Wisdom, Progress as of 07.01.09 - Click for a larger image! I worked some more on “Snowman Wisdom” tonight. It won’t be long before I am finished. :)

Hev asked me what plans I have for “Snowman Wisdom” when I am finished. Am I going to frame it or put it in a cup like the magazine shows? (The model is stitched on a vinyl weave insert for a travel mug.)

Once upon a time, in a land far away (aka Germany), finishing was important to me, but now… not so much! I get more pleasure from the actual act of stitching than worrying about finishing, so most of my projects just go in a WTF (waiting to be finished) pile when they are done. However, I think this design would make a nice pillow, so when (and if) I ever decide to finish finish it that is probably how it will end up.

I think it will make a lovely pillow. If you could find some snowflake material that would look good with it, but that is just a suggestion. I didn’t really think it made a good cup insert but I don’t like those kind of things anyway, lol.

You do beautiful work, I hope you know.

Snowmen is looking so cute, it would make an adorable pillow. You mention this was in a magazine, which one? Also, your earlier post of Summer looked great. Nice progress, I love the cute little dragon.
