Padded Shape Ornie Tutorial
Supplies:
- Paper and Pen or Pencil (for pattern)
- Matte Board
- Scissors
- Quilt Batting
- Stitched Needlework
- Tacky Glue
- Cording, Ribbon, Perle Cotton (optional)
Directions:

1.) Cut a pattern in the shape and size you need. Mark center. |

2.) Trace around your pattern on the matte board and cut out. (Make 2) |
 |
3.) Glue quilt batting onto matte board and trim if necessary.
4.) Center needlework onto the quilted sided of the matte board. |
 |
5.) Trim needlework ¼ - ½ ” around matte board. |
 |
6.) Glue needlework to matte board. If the shape is rounded, cut notches around fabric to make the needlework easier to glue down. (Do twice) |

7.) Place under a book and let dry. |
 |
8.) Using perle cotton, ribbon, or cording, glue hanger to one side. |
 |
9.) Line up and glue front and back pieces together. |
 |
10.) Glue on cording and add a tassel to the bottom. (Optional) |
 |
11.) Hang on Christmas tree!  |
